Moissanite Rings
Moissanite engagement ring, pairs perfectly with all traditional fine jewelry metals—platinum, white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold. Since the stone is so durable, it is safe to set it in prongs, bezels, or tension settings. Yellow and rose gold settings can be particularly complementary, offering a beautiful contrast to the icy white brilliance of the center stone.

Moissanite Rings
What Exactly is Moissanite? Moissanite is a naturally occurring mineral (silicon carbide) that was first discovered in 1893 by Henri Moissan, a French scientist, in a crater created by a meteorite strike in Arizona. Due to its extreme rarity in nature, virtually all Moissanite used in jewelry today is meticulously created in a lab.
Moissanite engagement ring is valued based on size (measured in millimeters or equivalent carat weight) and quality, not scarcity. This means you can acquire a larger, more brilliant, and structurally perfect stone for a fraction of the cost of a comparable diamond. This financial flexibility allows couples to allocate more resources toward the setting, the wedding, or other life priorities, all while wearing a truly breathtaking ring.
Moissanite has a higher refractive index (2.65 to 2.69) than diamond (2.42), meaning it can bend and reflect light more intensely. Dispersion is the stone’s ability to split light into the spectral colors of the rainbow. Moissanite has nearly 2.4 times the dispersion of a diamond, resulting in the famous 'rainbow fire' that distinguishes it. Simply put, a Moissanite ring will often appear brighter and throw off more colorful, dazzling sparkle than any other stone on the market.
